MOD Moms North is partnering with Santa’s House to lead the Baked Goods and Craft
Sale. Santa's House is a fun kid friendly event that takes place each year in Boulder,
CO. This year it is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 3 and Sunday, Dec 4 from 10-4pm at
Pi Beta Phi Sorority (890 11th Street Boulder, CO 80302). It is volunteer led and
run. There are kid games, storytelling, puppet shows, bake/craft sale, Christmas
carols/sing alongs, Mr. and Mrs Claus and more.
Santa’s House has been helping Boulder family charities for 37 years. In 2011, net
proceeds will go to the following important Boulder County Service organizations:
Imagine, EFAA, Parenting Place, and Joy Care Center.
Thank you so much to everyone that donated baked goods and crafts, baked and wrapped
cookies at Shannon's, made crafts, volunteered a shift at the actual event, attended
Santa's House and everyone for supporting such a great event and cause!
Our goal was to obtain 1000 baked good items for the bake sale and we got over 2000
items! Thank you!!
We made 100 fun crafts including Dinner Table Talk! Question jars and hot chocolate
Comments we received about the Santa’s House Event from the community:
“I want to tell all the members that helped so wonderfully at santas house this last
weekend. A good friend of mine runs the event and I often help with the bake sale
table and this year, the table was totally taken care of by Mod Moms, and the job
was outstanding! Thank you so much! If you know whom bought the cake pops, I would
love to talk to them! Thank you again, everything was AMAZING!!” - Chris G.
