About Us        

MOD Moms North is a moms' club serving Superior, Louisville, Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette and Erie, Colorado.  The club was formed as a group for both working and stay-at-home mothers with children of all ages, from pregnancy (when you have time to come join us and ask questions) through the school years (when you have time to get out and give back in the community and join us for all of our fun clubs geared toward moms of children in school).  Today we have over 150 members and growing!

We were formed on the basis that you can pick and choose what works for you at any given point in your life.  If you want to attend multiple playgroups, that is great.  If you would like to take part in all of our Moms Unplugged (time away from home with other moms!), feel free.  You pick and choose what works for you and what works for your life.  Please check our groups to see all of the different clubs within the club we have for you to enjoy. 
 
We are about building friendships, having fun, supporting both moms and children, and creating relationships that will last through the years in hopes of building a stronger community. The support we gain from other mothers allows us to navigate together the challenges we face as our kids greet the world around them in different and exciting ways.  A lot of us moved into this area because we love Colorado and everything it has to offer.  We formed to find new ideas and new places to explore!  We also have databases helpful to moms, including preschools, babysitters, and dogsitters.  We have a babysitting coop formed to trade babysitting each others children. 

Created by a group of energetic Moms in the north Denver area, MOD Moms North offers playgroups, family activities, Mod Moms Unplugged, Bunko, Book Clubs, and much more!

Join us today and form long-lasting friendships with other mothers of young children in your area and across our city. Let the adventures begin!

  • We meet during the day, when at-home mothers most need support, as well as the afternoon and evening for social gatherings

  • We have an established support system. Our members consist of experienced moms who are ready to help you every step of the way! You can call them for advice, ideas and help. 

  • All mothers of any age children are welcome! You don't have to leave the group when your children enter school! We know you still need support as your children grow!

 
Mod Moms Receives Community Recognition
The 2nd annual Crayons to Calculators Corporate Challenge attracted thirty-one corporations who provided backpacks of school supplies, loose supplies, cash and employee volunteers to help assemble backpacks. These corporate contributions enabled Crayons to Calculators to provide backpacks of school supplies valued at $52,695 to 889 students.

Thanks to substantial support from sponsors like Boulder Rotary Club, Western Disposal Services, Corporate Express, Boulder County Business Report, the Camera, the Times-Call, MOD Moms North and donations from thousands of community members and corporations, last month Crayons to Calculators provided over 4,812 backpacks of school supplies to economically disadvantaged students in Boulder Valley and St. Vrain school districts.  See Impact on Education.
